PREAMBLE
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between the Hotel and Restaurant Le Périgord establishment and any person making a reservation for accommodation, catering, or related services.
Any reservation implies full and complete acceptance of these terms.
The establishment reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The applicable conditions are those in force on the date of booking.
1. RESERVATIONS
Reservations may be made:
• Directly with the establishment
• Via the official website
• By telephone
• By email
• Or through approved partners
Any reservation is considered confirmed after:
• Written confirmation from the establishment
• And provision of a valid bank guarantee or payment of a deposit
The establishment reserves the right to refuse any reservation that does not provide the necessary guarantees.
2. PRICING
Prices are expressed in euros, including all taxes (VAT included), excluding tourist tax.
The tourist tax, when applicable, is charged additionally according to the rate set by the relevant local authority.
Prices include only the services expressly mentioned at the time of booking.
Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice. However, services will be invoiced based on the rates in force at the time of booking confirmation.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
Payments may be made by:
• Bank card
• Bank transfer
• Cash
• ANCV holiday vouchers
The establishment may carry out a bank pre-authorization prior to the guest’s arrival. Unless otherwise stated:
• Non-refundable offers must be paid in full in advance
• Flexible offers are paid on site at departure
4. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
Cancellation and refund conditions are specified at the time of booking and remain subject to mandatory legal provisions applicable to consumers.
Complaints: Any complaint must be sent to the establishment within a reasonable period (maximum 30 days) in order to be processed under the best conditions.
5. NO-SHOW
In case of non-arrival of the client without prior cancellation under the conditions specified at booking, the establishment may charge all or part of the stay in accordance with the pricing conditions accepted at booking.
6. CANCELLATION OR REFUSAL OF RESERVATION
The establishment reserves the right to cancel or refuse a reservation in case of: • fraud
• unauthorized use of a payment method
• clearly incorrect information
• inappropriate behavior or behavior affecting safety, staff, other guests, or the proper functioning of the establishment
Except in cases of force majeure, any cancellation attributable to the hotel will result in a refund of amounts paid or the proposal of an equivalent solution.
7. FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform its obligations resulting from a force majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
Force majeure events include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, fires, general strikes, pandemics, network outages, administrative decisions, or any external event preventing normal performance of services.
8. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Rooms are made available to guests on the day of arrival from 4:00 p.m.
To ensure comfort and service quality for all guests, rooms must be vacated no later than 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. In case of significant delay without prior agreement from the hotel, additional charges corresponding to the damage incurred by the establishment may apply.
When late departure prevents room availability or disrupts normal operations, an additional night may be charged at the applicable rate for that day.
9. RESTAURANT
Restaurant opening hours and menus are available at reception and on the website. For groups and private events:
• A deposit may be required
• Special conditions may apply
Guests are asked to report any allergies or dietary restrictions before ordering.
10. LIABILITY – PERSONAL BELONGINGS
In accordance with Articles 1952 and following of the French Civil Code, the hotel may be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to items deposited under the conditions provided by applicable regulations.
However, the hotel cannot be held liable:
• in case of fault, negligence, or imprudence of the guest
• for items left unattended in common areas
• for items left in vehicles parked on hotel premises
• in cases of force majeure or external events beyond the hotel’s control
Guests are advised to use the safe provided when available and not to leave valuables unattended.
11. DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE GUEST
The guest is responsible for all material damage or deterioration caused by themselves, their companions, their visitors, or their pets within the establishment.
The establishment reserves the right to charge for repair, deep cleaning, or replacement costs.
12. PETS
Pets are not allowed.
13. PERSONAL DATA
Information collected as part of bookings, contact requests, and the commercial relationship is subject to computerized processing intended to ensure:
• Booking management
• Customer relationship follow-up
• Billing and accounting
• And, where applicable, the sending of commercial information
Collected data is exclusively intended for Hôtel Le Périgord and is neither sold nor transferred to third parties without prior consent, except where legally required.
Personal data is retained for the period strictly necessary for processing purposes and in compliance with legal obligations in force.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, guests have the following rights:
• Right of access
• Right of rectification
• Right to erasure
• Right to object
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to data portability

14. PHOTOGRAPHS AND DESCRIPTIONS
Photographs presented on the website are for illustrative purposes only and are not contractually binding.
Minor differences in presentation, decoration, or layout may exist between rooms without affecting the essential characteristics of the booked service.
15. MEDIATION – DISPUTES
In the event of a dispute, the guest is invited to contact the establishment’s management first in order to seek an amicable solution.
In accordance with the Consumer Code, the guest may also use a free consumer mediation service.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
